Kinesiology, Muscle Testing & the Subconscious Mind

Have you ever known exactly what you want, yet somehow keep repeating the same patterns?

You want the relationship, confidence, success, health, money or freedom.

Consciously, you’re saying yes.

But something underneath seems to be saying something else.

This is where the subconscious mind gets really interesting.

What’s Really Running Underneath?

Thinkers and researchers such as Dr Bruce Lipton have explored how subconscious programming may influence our behaviour and the patterns we repeat.

Dr Candace Pert’s research explored the connection between emotions, neuropeptides and the body, helping open up a much bigger conversation around the relationship between our thoughts, emotions and physical experience.

Then we can take the conversation even further.

What if consciousness is bigger than the identity we’ve been conditioned to believe we are?

David Icke explores this from a more metaphysical perspective — the idea that we are consciousness having a human experience, yet we can become deeply identified with our conditioning, beliefs, labels and past experiences.

And perhaps some of those old subconscious beliefs are still influencing the life we create today.

You Can’t Change What You Can’t See

You might consciously think:

I want to be successful.

Yet underneath could be:

If I become successful, people will judge me.

You might want a loving relationship, while subconsciously carrying:

Love isn’t safe.

You might want to grow your business and be seen, while another part of you believes:

Being visible makes me vulnerable.

These limiting beliefs and subconscious patterns may have made complete sense when they were created.

But do they still match the life you want now?

How Can Kinesiology and Muscle Testing Help?

This is one of the reasons I love kinesiology and muscle testing.

Muscle testing is used as a biofeedback tool to help explore stress responses and bring awareness to patterns that may not be immediately obvious to the conscious mind.

Instead of trying to logically work everything out, we can start asking:

What belief is underneath this?

What am I holding onto?

What does my system associate with getting what I want?

What part of change feels stressful or unsafe?

Sometimes the blockage isn’t that you don’t want something enough.

There may simply be another subconscious belief, emotional pattern or association sitting underneath it.

Removing the Blockages

What if creating change isn’t always about pushing harder?

Sometimes it may be about identifying the subconscious blockages creating resistance.

Through kinesiology, we can explore underlying beliefs, emotional stress and conditioned patterns, bring them into conscious awareness and work towards creating a different response.

A new belief.

A new perception.

A new way of seeing yourself.

A new way of experiencing your life.

You don’t need to become some perfectly healed version of yourself before you can create the life you want.

Sometimes change begins by becoming aware of what has been running underneath the surface, releasing some of the stress attached to it, and giving yourself the space to choose something new.

Because when you start changing what’s happening within you, you may be surprised by what starts changing around you too.

Innate Balance Kinesiology offers kinesiology and muscle testing sessions in Vaucluse and Paddington, Sydney, helping clients explore subconscious beliefs, emotional stress and patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck.
